Aaron currently accepts clients with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, Tufts Commercial, or Optum insurance (which includes Harvard Pilgrim, Health Plans, Allways Health Partners, United HealthCare, and United Behavioral Health), or who are self pay.

Aaron truly values learning from each and every client in order to be the best therapist possible.  In session, you can expect Aaron to be genuine, humorous, and uplifting. He feels strongly that a safe and welcoming environment where everyone can be who they are is important!  Through his work in multiple settings, including a college counseling center, a pediatric clinic, and an outpatient substance use clinic, he has worked with adolescents and adults on a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, identity building, stress, relationships, trauma, substance use, and academic performance.

He strives to treat each client as an individual, get to know them, and meet them right where they are in life, whatever their circumstances. In the therapeutic process he uses a variety of approaches, and enjoys integrating cognitive behavioral techniques when helpful. He also has a passion for, and extra training in, addiction counseling. He finds this really useful as almost everyone has been impacted by addiction in some way in their life.

Aaron himself enjoys a variety of activities and hobbies that fuel his passion for life and helping others live theirs. You may find him on long walks, playing video games, sketching an art piece, cooking, or watching anime (he keeps a bulleted list of his favorites, feel free to ask!). He may bring these hobbies into the therapy space for those who can relate well to them. He is also a dedicated husband who loves spending time with his wife, his small dog, and his family and friends. Aaron is a Master’s level clinician working towards independent licensure, and identifies as a White, Queer, cisgender man.
