Dr. McQuinn has been with Mass Bay Counseling as a practicing psychologist for the past twenty years.  She graduated from Bridgewater State University with a B.S. in 1986 and in 1990 with her Doctorate Degree from Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology.  She is a certified Internal Family Systems therapist and a certified EMDR therapist in addition to being clinically trained in the psychodynamic tradition.  Dr. McQuinn’s approach to therapy comes from a self-led humanistic and wellness orientation.  In addition to her therapeutic work, she is also the Clinical Director of Mass Bay Counseling which includes administration management, supervision of staff and clinicians, and overseer of all clinical services.

Nate Murray is President and Managing Partner Of MBC Senior Services, Inc. the parent company for the Visiting Angels of the South Shore, a private elder home care practice serving Massachusetts south of Boston.  Nate is a licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker.  Following his graduate work in 1980 at Columbia University in New York, he has held numerous clinical appointments including Director of Social Work and Nursing Home Services at Florida Keyes Memorial Hospital, Clinical Director of the Survival Emergency Shelter, and Director of the first inpatient Dual Diagnosis Program in Massachusetts at Arbor Health Systems, Pembroke.  In 1988 he co-founded Mass Bay Counseling, PC with Louis Schippers, PhD which has grown to become the largest outpatient private psychological practice in Southeastern Massachusetts.

Dr. Schippers has been in private practice on the South Shore since 1970 after receiving his Doctorate from Boston University.  Dr. Schippers served as Professor of Psychology at Bridgewater State University from 1965 to 2003 were he was instrumental in developing the Masters Degree program in psychology as Chair of the Department.  Hi is a founding member of the Boston Institute for Psychotherapy in 1970, and has held Directorship positions at Arbor Health Systems, Pembroke Hospital.  As a Fulbright Scholar he has traveled extensively in India and China studying cross cultural approaches to human service delivery systems.  His post doctoral sabbaticals were in London, at the Tavistock Clinic; Zurich, at the Jungian Institute, and Honolulu, at the East West Center of the University of Hawaii.  In 1988, he co-founded Mass Bay Counseling and remains its President.

Dr. Comiskey is a licensed Psychologist with a doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University.  With thirty years experience in the public school system as a school psychologist and guidance counselor, she particularly enjoys working with children, adolescents and parents.  Dr. Comiskey has experience with both in-patient and out-patient treatment of children and adults, and expertise in the treatment of children and adults with special needs, socio-economic difficulties and divorce issues.

Her therapeutic orientations are predominantly cognitive behavior therapy and family systems.

Mary Kay Duffy is a licensed therapist who has worked in Life and Business Coaching and Counseling for twenty years.  She received her undergraduate degree from U Mass Boston, Her M.S. from Lesley University and her M.Ed. from U Mass Boston.

Mary Kay works with individuals, couples, and adolescents using a cognitive and narrative therapeutic approach.  Her approach with client relationships is eclectic and diverse.  Her areas of focus include depression, anxiety, ADHD, life and or career transitions, substance abuse, adult children of alcoholics, stress management and general wellness.

Sue Kazolias, LICSW

Sue Kazolias developed her strengths-based approach to therapy in the community mental health setting working with a wide-range of ages and presenting issues.  With her warm and respectful approach, Sue tailors her work to what meets each individual’s need.  Prior to coming to Mass Bay Counseling, Sue earned and “Innovation” award at her previous workplace, highlighting her “unyielding dedication and resourcefulness that is inventive and unique to each client,” as well as “her very rare, completely natural ability to relate to just about anyone.”  Sue earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work and her Master’s Degree in Russian Language and Literature at SUNY Albany.  She obtained her LICSW in 2008 and has been a practicing therapist since 2005.

Dawn Moscow

Dawn Moscow received her MA in Psychology from Yeshiva University in New York.

Her post-graduate training was at the Boston Bouve School of Northeastern University with a concentration on family systems principles.  Her specializations include conflict resolution and relationship enhancement for families and couples.  Additional areas of interest are transitional issues, and treatment of depression and anxiety for preadolescence through adulthood.

Mark Picciotto

Mark Picciotto, PhD is a clinical psychologist who has been licensed and practicing for over20 years.  He specializes in the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents.  Issues that he commonly works with are behavioral and parenting issues, mood disorders including depression and anxiety problems, and adjustment problems.  He works from a short term focal treatment perspective, focusing on behavioral solutions and rapid improvement of symptoms where possible.  He also has many years experience in psychological testing, with a focus on personality assessment and functioning.
