Donna McQuinn

Donna McQuinn, Psy.D.

Dr. McQuinn has been with Mass Bay Counseling as a practicing psychologist for the past twenty years.  She graduated from Bridgewater State University with a B.S. in 1986 and in 1990 with her Doctorate Degree from Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology.  She is a certified Internal Family Systems therapist and a certified EMDR therapist in addition to being clinically trained in the psychodynamic tradition.  Dr. McQuinn’s approach to therapy comes from a self-led humanistic and wellness orientation.  In addition to her therapeutic work, she is also the Clinical Director of Mass Bay Counseling which includes administration management, supervision of staff and clinicians, and overseer of all clinical services.

Patricia Comisky

Patricia Comiskey, Ed.D.

Dr. Comiskey is a licensed Psychologist with a doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University.  With thirty years experience in the public school system as a school psychologist and guidance counselor, she particularly enjoys working with children, adolescents and parents.  Dr. Comiskey has experience with both in-patient and out-patient treatment of children and adults, and expertise in the treatment of children and adults with special needs, socio-economic difficulties and divorce issues.

Her therapeutic orientations are predominantly cognitive behavior therapy and family systems.

Mark Piciotto

Mark Picciotto, Ph.D.

Mark Picciotto, PhD is a clinical psychologist who has been licensed and practicing for over20 years.  He specializes in the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents.  Issues that he commonly works with are behavioral and parenting issues, mood disorders including depression and anxiety problems, and adjustment problems.  He works from a short term focal treatment perspective, focusing on behavioral solutions and rapid improvement of symptoms where possible.  He also has many years experience in psychological testing, with a focus on personality assessment and functioning. 

Courtney Pardue

Courtney Pardue, LICSW

Courtney comes to Mass Bay Counseling following seven years as an outpatient therapist at a community health agency.  Prior to this, she led groups and provided short term therapy to an acute women’s psychiatric partial hospital program specializing in trauma and eating disorders. Working in diverse settings over the past twenty years, Courtney has experience with working with a broad range of clinical issues.  In addition to treating mood disorders, relational issues, and stress management, she has experience and clinical interest in issues pertaining to gender, GLBT population, trauma, eating disorders, substance abuse, and issues facing the adoption triad.  She describes her style as eclectic, drawing upon cognitive behavioral therapies, including DBT and ACT, internal family systems and mindfulness based therapies.  She is described by clients as warm and thoughtful.  Courtney received her undergraduate degree from Goddard College with a concentration in Women’s Studies and Counseling.  She received her Master’s Degree from Simmons School of Social Work.

James Reis

James Reis

James has thirty years of clinical experience in hospital and outpatient settings.  His interests include spirituality, substance abuse, and relationships.  He utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as a primary approach, including mindfulness practices.  He has extensive experience treating addiction, health issues, family stress, anxiety and depression.  He is committed to helping individuals and couples achieve rapid stability when there is a crisis, balance priorities, and to grow.

James has managed a partial hospital program, an outpatient clinic, and was the assistant director of the National Association of Social Workers in New Jersey.  He has completed the 60 hour Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction training at Jefferson Hospital, and he holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Yeshiva University.

David Wall

David Wall, LICSW

David joined Mass Bay Counseling after gaining significant clinical experience at a short-term residential facility, a large inpatient hospital, an organ transplant center, a detox facility and in outpatient counseling centers.  He provides individual and couples therapy and enjoys working with diverse cultures, ages and genders.  David utilizes various theoretical approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy and psychodynamic therapy.  His special interests are the treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders, relational issues and substance abuse.  David earned his Bachelor's and Master's Degree of Social Work from Andrews University.  He holds independent licensure in Florida and Massachusetts.

 

Jennifer Sullivan  Office Manager

Jennifer answers all requests for Mass Bay Counseling services.  She coordinates the needs and requests of our clients to ensure each person receives the service that they require.  Jennifer has expertise in billing claims to insurance companies and she is able to track, prevent, and resolve billing problems.
