Telephone Consultations

Telephone consultation is provided for the convenience of our clients. Some issues lend themselves easily to this medium, however there is no substitute for in-person sessions when the concern is mental illness. The Mass Bay Counseling staff will assist you in determining what is most appropriate for you.

Telephone Consultation would be appropriate if:

• You need information about whether your concerns would be helped by treatment
• You have been working with a counselor on a specific problem and want a second opinion
• You need guidance and information to make appropriate life changes or treatment

Telephone Consultation would not be appropriate if:

• You have concerns about your safety
• Your concerns require an in-person diagnostic evaluation

Telephone consultation is not covered by most health plans.
Fees may be charged to your credit card
